Day 1 Food Diary
I think I may have figured out what I want to use my Vox blog for. Thanks to Janelle for the idea. Maybe if I know this is going to be public, it will help me control my urges!
1 grande nonfat vanilla latte
1 slice reduced fat banana chocolate chip coffee cake from Starbucks
8 oz. water
1/2 sandwich: mozarella, roasted pepper, basil w balsamic on bagette
1 pickle spear
20 oz. Diet Coke
mixed fruit cup: grapes, pineapple, honeydew, canteloupe
8 oz. water
2 bites of cheesy garlic bread
2 slices of pepperoni/mushroom pizza
1 Leinies Honey Weiss
2 Sam Adams Summer Ale
Yay! Jake's gf made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and I was able to resist.
Yay! I gave away the bag of chips that came with my lunch.
Boo! It's Moving Day and I've been stress-eating a lot.

i actually got the idea from tien, when he does his mini food diaries (mini diaries, not mini foods). i pay terrible attention to what i eat, so i never know if i'm getting enough protein (probably) or drinking too much (probably).
yeh, tien too.. but he doesnt keep it up. he just goes in spurts. and i dont know the reason for his diary. it's like bragging. "look, my stomach can hold 23 pieces of pizza AND 2 pieces of cake.. and oh, look! 3 guinness on top of that. i could have fit more, but i was too lazy to walk over to the pizza box!" (i kid!!!)
i'm hoping that if i can get in a habit and "report" this then i will stop cheating myself. i know that even though i'm "trying to eat better" i cheat like every day.
You should drink more water! I gave up soda cold-turkey and substituted water, and since then ... dammit, I dunno if it's done a damn thing for me. :-(
Ummm...this is exactly why I didn't want them around the house. If they were, i'd have eaten the whole sack of 'em...
